We had the privilege of exploring Egypt with two exceptional guides: Eslam led us through Abu Simbel and Luxor, while his brother Amir guided us at the Temple of Philae and in Aswan. My fiancé and I had an incredible few days with Eslam! He was kind, trustworthy and flexible making our time in Luxor and Aswan feel safe so that we could enjoy the incredible history and sights. He knew great photo opportunities and was patient, waiting for bystanders to clear the background to get better photos. Some key highlights was Eslam taking us to get dinner late after a temple (not in our original plan) and offering to pay on our behalf to get a better price 250 EGP Per Person for a 3 course meal (4 side dishes alongside the main course), refusing to let us buy overpriced water from a vendor and instead getting us cold water 5 minutes later for a fraction of the price and picking up delicious warm falafel kebabs for lunch for our 3 hour drive back to Aswan. On the final evening on our request to pickup some Egyptian bread (10 pieces for 20 EGP) he also purchased us a massive warm Zaatar that smelt (and tasted) heavenly and served as our dinner. Overall would highly recommend Eslam for anyone looking to travel Egypt!
